Costco.ca sells two red light therapy panels, both from Kala: the Pro at $499.99 CAD and the Elite at $999.99. It also lists 8 LED face masks from $139.99 to $599.99, plus wraps and a handheld Kala Mini. Both Kala panels, and most of the other listings, are marked online only. Prices below were read from costco.ca on October 14, 2026, and Costco can add instant savings at checkout that we couldn't see.
Who wrote this: Hale Health sells RLPRO panels and Hale FACE. Hale isn't sold at Costco, and we don't earn anything from the Costco or Kala links below. Where Costco is the better place to buy, we say so.

Costco's search pages build their results in the browser, so we found these through each product page rather than one list. Costco may carry items we missed, so check your local warehouse for in-store stock. The ratings are Costco's own member reviews; a 4.5 from 171 reviews and a 4.5 from two reviews aren't the same signal.
Kala at Costco or Kala direct?
| Model | Costco.ca | In the Costco box | Kala direct | Difference from the comparable Kala price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kala Pro panel | $499.99 | Built-in stand, hanging kit, remote, goggles | $799.99 (built-in stand) or $939.99 (roller boot) | $300.00 less at Costco |
| Kala Elite panel | $999.99 | Hanging kit, remote, goggles; no stand listed | $1,399.99 (no stand), $1,539.99 (roller boot) or $2,199.99 (floor stand) | $400.00 less at Costco |
| Kala Mini 2.0 | $299.99 | Sold with a stand | $449.99 without a stand; $489.99 with one | $190.00 less at Costco |
On price, Costco wins clearly: $300.00 less on the Pro and $400.00 less on the Elite than Kala's comparable direct price. Kala's renewed units, $649.99 for a Pro and $1,199.99 for an Elite, still cost more than Costco's new ones. Kala's own shipping is free across North America from its Toronto warehouse, so there's no delivery charge to close the gap. The return terms also favour Costco. Kala's own policy asks for a return tracking number within 30 days of delivery, charges a $15 restocking fee, leaves return shipping to you, and makes its mask, wrap, Duo and Quad final sale (Kala refund policy). Costco's general guarantee is broader, as covered below.
Two things to check before you choose Costco. First, the warranty: Kala states two years on its own panel pages, but the Costco panel listings we read didn't state one, so ask Costco or Kala which warranty applies to a Costco unit. Second, the box contents. Costco's Pro comes with a built-in stand and a hanging kit. Costco's Elite lists a hanging kit but no stand, which makes Kala's own $1,399.99 no-stand Elite the fair comparison. If you want the Elite on a floor stand, price the stand separately.
For the Pro and Elite panels as listed, Costco is the better place to buy them.
Are the Costco panels licensed by Health Canada?
Yes, the two panels are. Health Canada's licence database lists the Pro and Elite under licence 114824, KALA RED LIGHT PRO PANEL, and licence 114898, KALA RED LIGHT ELITE PANEL, both Class II and both held by Kala Therapy Inc. Licences are often filed under a manufacturer's name or a generic device name, so for the mask, wrap or Mini, ask Kala for the licence number and check it in Health Canada's database.
A licence means Health Canada authorized the device for sale for its intended use. It isn't an approval or a ranking. To look up any product on this list yourself, use our step-by-step licence guide.
What a Costco panel is good for
The Kala Pro is a compact panel with 85 LEDs at two wavelengths, 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. Costco lists it at 43 × 23 cm and 4.08 kg. That's a face-and-one-area panel: your face, a knee, a shoulder or your lower back, one at a time. The Elite has 231 LEDs at the same two wavelengths in a taller, narrow strip, 91 × 22 cm and 8.46 kg, so it covers more of you per session.
If that's what you want, a Costco panel at $499.99 or $999.99 is a sensible way to start, and the return policy takes some of the risk out of trying one.
You'd be looking at a different purchase if you want:
- one panel that covers most of your body from the front in a single session, so you aren't treating one area after another;
- more than two wavelengths. Hale's RLPRO panels use eight, from 630 to 1060 nm;
- a floor stand built for the panel, including an electric stand that lifts it horizontal so you can lie underneath.
That's what Hale's RLPRO range is for. Every price includes a stand: $3,900 CAD for the RLPRO 1000, from $4,800 CAD for the RLPRO 1200 and $6,700 CAD for the RLPRO 2000. It's a bigger purchase for a different job. If one area at a time suits you, the Kala is the cheaper answer. Compare RLPRO sizes.
Costco's return policy, in Costco's words
Costco's policy says: "We guarantee your satisfaction with every product we sell and will refund your purchase price," followed by a list of exceptions. The main one for devices is a 90-day window for listed electronics such as televisions, computers, tablets and smart watches, plus "other electronic products identified by Costco from time to time" (Costco return policy, read October 14, 2026).
Red light therapy devices aren't named on that list. Costco also says restrictions will be shown at the point of purchase, so check the listing or ask before you buy if the return window matters to you.
Questions about red light therapy at Costco
Does Costco sell red light therapy panels in Canada?
Yes. On October 14, 2026, costco.ca listed the Kala Red Light Therapy Pro Panel at $499.99 and the Elite Panel at $999.99, both marked online only. Check your local warehouse for in-store stock.
Which red light therapy masks does Costco sell?
We found masks from Kala, CurrentBody, Shark, Silk'n, Dreame and Conair, listed from $139.99 to $599.99. See the table above for each one.
Is the Kala panel at Costco the same as Kala's own?
The model names, LED counts and wavelengths match: 85 LEDs on the Pro and 231 on the Elite, at 660 and 850 nm. What's in the box and the stated warranty can differ between sellers, so compare the listings line by line.
Can you return a red light therapy device to Costco?
Costco's general satisfaction guarantee covers most products. Red light devices aren't named in its 90-day electronics exception, but Costco can name other electronics for that window, so confirm at purchase.
